THE LIFE CHRIST INVITES US INTO

• THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR: In Acts:4vs12 "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” God sees you in your brokenness and loves you too much to leave you there, and one day he died and rose again to fix every bit of it. Jesus was God in flesh Emmanuel(God is with us). We were once slaves to our sin, but now adopted into his family, no longer orphans but sons and daughters of the King of the universe. Jesus came to take dead people into life.

• YOU WILL BE MARKED BY CHRIST: In Acts:4vs13 we were told thus about Peter and John "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus." It was obvious that they had been hanging out with Jesus, so should it be for you as a Christian, people should identify your qualities and personality with that of Jesus in all that you do. It is not about performance, but proximity.

• THE LOVE AND LIFE OF JESUS IS VERY REAL: In Acts:4vs20, after Peter and John had been called and charged not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus by the rulers and elders and scribes of the Sadducees, they gave this response."for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” He is someone you can experience, not subscribe to.
